Improv

So I'm reading Alexander Theroux's essay entitled "Black," originally published in Conjunctions in 1994, and thinking, "Jesus, this guy's pretty verbose," but it gets better, and I start to think, "Jesus, verbosity can really get you somewhere, if you pick the right words."
